Doris + Jon

Doris first reached out to me after booking their venue, and I’m so thankful they did! These two are the epitome of #adorbs with her infectious laugh and his cool demeanor. Plus, their fur baby, Olive, was going to be in their ceremony WITH a flower collar — sign me up! Their day began with Doris getting ready in the Rustic Barn and Jon, in the guest house. They sent emissaries from each camp with heartfelt gifts and cards to one another – one of the most touching moments of the day! šŸ˜Their DJ also plays live acoustic guitar — another personal touch that made this day so special — which set the ceremony to the perfect tune. Dainty spring florals in painted mason jars proudly marked the start of their ceremony aisle, which added the perfect amount of soft color to a gorgeous Spring day on the Sunset Plateau. Fast forward to cocktail hour with the most awesome custom cornhole set I’ve ever seen as well as a giant jenga set that guests enjoyed all night! Guests were further spoiled with libations from The Tap Truck, #BombAss tacos from SD Tacos (did you know they’re also part of Ā”Salud! — if you want a dine-in option), and mini-churros. The awesomeness continued with the Shoe Game, a BEAUTIFUL (and tasty) cake from Sugar and Scribe, and of course, dancing under the market lights, enjoying the warm mountain air. I just loved working with Doris + Jon, bringing all their thoughtful details to life, and allowing them to celebrate with their friends and family without a care in the world.
